Fox Sports Ohio:
CLEVELAND (AP) -- Brandon Weeden's confidence has grown with every practice, every pass.
Cleveland's rocket-armed rookie quarterback says he has a solid grasp on the Browns' playbook and that he's getting into a better rhythm with his receivers. Weeden, who was named the Browns' starter before the first exhibition game, said Wednesday's practice was his best so far. Weeden fired touchdown passes during red-zone drills and showed more mobility in the pocket.
Weeden hopes to build on a strong performance last week (12 of 20, 135 yards) against Green Bay in Friday's preseason game against Philadelphia, the same team he'll be facing in the Sept. 9 season opener. Weeden is expected to play most of the first half against the Eagles. He said training camp has been more mentally challenging than he imagined.

Its Taken Me 3 Preseason Games To Understand Why The Browns Drafted Brandon Weeden But I Got It Now
I never understood why the Cleveland Browns drafted Brandon Weeden with the 22nd pick in the 2012 NFL draft until now. Weeden is a guy who can move the team, he came out throwing tonight and completed 3 of 3 passes to move the Browns into scoring position. Then he couldn’t get the Browns into the end-zone, he fits right into what the Cleveland Browns coaching staff does in Cleveland...
Browns Q.B. Brandon Weeden Says Wednesday Practice His Finest Yet
Browns Quarterback Brandon Weeden said he had a great practice Wednesday in the Cleveland Browns final training camp session. Now Weeden needs to take that to the field. It is a little easier to find a guy like Mohamed Massaquo in 11 on 11 drills when Mo Mass knows he isn’t going to take the big hit. That has been a big part of the Browns game-time problems, the Cleveland quarterbacks...
Brandon Weeden Struggles vs. Eagles
Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden struggled against the Eagles on Friday night, going 9-of-20 for 117 yards and fumbling twice.Fantasy Spin:Weeden and a mediocre set of receivers are a long way from being fantasy worthy and you should stay away, stay far away, on draft day.
Cleveland Browns Training Camp Report: 8/21/12
Brandon Weeden probably won’t like much of what he sees from the film of this practice. It wasn’t interceptions or drops, but rather passes that were off the mark. In my nearly half dozen practices this year, it was Weeden’s most inconsistent performance. At least in 11 on 11 drills.
There were the two passes that sailed over Greg Little’s head for example. Or the out route...

I guess if you have been around the Cleveland Browns since they returned to the NFL in 1999, you become a little worried when you see the team having some success in the preseason. He...

2-0 Preseason Start Has Browns Fans Dreaming Big: Is 3rd Place in AFC North Really Possible?
The Cleveland Browns have toppled both of their foes this preseason. And while rookie starter Brandon Weeden has looked marginally effective as the 28-year old Quarterback of the Future for the Browns, he should still be the Browns’ starter in Week 1.
There are some big questions facing the Cleveland Browns this season like:
Was it worth it to move up to draft a running back...

The Philadelphia Eagles Defense Totally Disrupts The Browns Offense Brandon Graham is a beast
The Eagles went into Cleveland and had to be surprised when they saw Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden march his Browns down to the 2 yard line with a combination of three great pass plays and the Browns running game. Browns throttled by Eagles 27-10
With a season opener against Philadelphia looming in two weeks, the Browns didn't want to show the Eagles too much in their exhibition matchup.

While We’re Waiting: Browns vs. Eagles Recaps Galore
Naturally, it was all a smokescreen. Right? “Of interest mainly to fans who endure paying full price for half value, the Browns’ exhibition home opener Friday against Philadelphia was one in which neither team wanted to show much. That was to avoid tipping off their wilier designs before the regular-season opener between the teams in 16 days.
The Browns’ starters, if nothing...
