Buffalo Bills
As if losing four straight Super Bowls and not having a winning record since 2004 wasn’t bad enough. One Buffalo Bills fan thinks three extra text messages is worth a lawsuit against his favorite team. Jerry Wojcik, a Bills fan living in Tampa, Fla., is suing the franchise after signing up to receive text updates from Buffalo’s website. Wojcik said he signed up after seeing an ad that said recipients would get three to five texts a week with news and score updates. In his suit, being filed in the Middle District of Florida, Wojcik says the Bills sent him six messages from Sept. 23-29 — the second week after signing up — and seven text messages from Oct. 14-20. For those counting, that’s an extra three text messages. Now, because of the egregious pain caused by those extra three messages, the suffering fan has had enough. Wojcik is seeking “$500 per excessive call for negligent violations and up to $1,500 per call for willful violations,” according to the Buffalo News. Wojcik did, ho...

Bills' Chris Kelsay's neck injury not serious, hopes to play against Pats
Buffalo Bills DE Chris Kelsay says that doctors have determined his neck injury to be nothing too serious, and he hopes to be out there on the field when the team takes on the Patriots Sunday. His status will most likely be a game time decision. "It's not major, but I don't know if he can get ready for this week," head coach Chan Gailey told ESPN. "We have...
Fred Jackson suffered a head injury
According to Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com, Bills running back Fred Jackson suffered a head injury during Sunday’s loss to the Patriots.
“I don’t know if they’re calling it a concussion,” said Gailey. “I don’t know what the word is. I don’t know if it’s a concussion or not. They didn’t tell me.”
We’ll have to wait and see how Jackson looks during the week...
Bills Waste Golden Opportunity In Foxboro
It was all set up perfectly.
After a huge defensive stop held the Patiots to only a field goal, the Bills were about to get the ball back trailing by only six points, with a chance to win the game.
Ryan Fitzpatrick had been on fire all afternoon, throwing for over 300 yards and two touchdowns in the contest.
After driving down into the New England redzone, it appeared as if the Bills...
Bills RB Fred Jackson Officially Out For Week 11 With A Concussion
Bills head coach Chan Gailey announced that RB Fred Jackson has officially been diagnosed with a concussion and will not play against the Dolphins on Thursday, via BuffaloBills.com.
This obviously opens the door for C.J. Spiller who has looked incredible in recent weeks, but has been forced to split carries with Jackson. Theres always the chance that Jackson could be out multiple...
Bills WR T.J. Graham Takes Blame For Costly Interception
To most, it looked like an awful pass by quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, right at the Patriots Devin McCourty in the front of the end zone.
But T.J. Graham, the rookie wide receiver who was the intended receiver on the play, said after the game that he was the one to blame for the interception that sealed New England's 37-31 win over the Bills.
Graham told reporters that he...
Ryan Fitzpatrick Calls Brandon Spikes a ‘Punk,’ ‘Took a Cheap Shot’ in Earlier Game
Since the Bills and Patriots are (most likely) done playing each other this season, it looks like Brandon Spikes won’t have another opportunity to lay more lumber on Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick in 2012.
Following New England’s 37-31 victory at Gillette on Sunday, the Harvard grad took a parting shot at the Patriots’ linebacker in his press conference.
“I think...
Kneel before Necci: Bills/Pats Recap
The Bills and the Patriots played an NFL Game that ended in heartache & despair.
My thoughts:
MVP: Ryan Fitzpatrick. We, myself leading the parade, like to bash Fitz. The weak arm, the inability to throw it deep, the inaccuracy, and the ever looming "Fitz Pick" that kills this team like it did yesterday. But today, Ryan Fitzpatrick played probably...
Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots: Three Bold Predictions
Believe it or not NFL.com has this Sunday's match-up between the Buffalo Bills (3-5) vs. the New England Patriots (5-3) ranked as the fourth most intriguing game on the docket. It may not be intriguing because it's between two power house teams, in fact it's between the first place Patriots and last place Bills. It's not pitting two dominant defenses against powerhouse...
NFL Week 10: New England vs Buffalo Recap
NEW ENGLAND (37) d BUFFALO (31)
The Headline: Bills start to show some promise but the Patriots hold on
The Story:
With their season on the line, the Bills travelled to New England hoping to keep pace with the AFC East leaders. Unfortunately for them, every possible thing that could have gone wrong did as the Bills put forward a mistake riddled performance and still found themselves...
Predator Strikes Again
Brandon "Predator" Spikes certainly isn't one of the most liked players on the field when it comes to game time. This past Sunday against the Bills, Spikes had a helmet-to-helmet hit on quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick that led to a roughing the passer call and a few choice words from Fitzpatrick during and after the game. I think Spikes is an emotional player, I think...
Patriots try to continue their trek to the playoffs against the Bills
Devin McCourty picking off one of his two passes against the Bills in Week 4
Buffalo Bills (3-5) @ New England Patriots (5-3)
In week 4, the Patriots beat the Bills 52-28, which sounds like (and eventually was) a sound beating but in the the 3rd quarter the Bills led 21-7 before the Patriots tore off 6 straight scoring drives. The Patriots gave up 438 yards of total offense but...
Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick Calls Patriots LB Brandon Spikes 'A Punk'
Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes smashed into quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick in the fourth quarter of the Patriots 37-31 win over the Bills. The hit drew a roughing the passer penalty, and an expletive from Fitzpatrick directed toward Spikes. It drew an equally strong reaction after the game, Amalie Benjamin of the Boston Globe reports.
Were not going to back down from anybody...
CLNS Staff Predictions: Bills at Patriots Week 10
After a much needed bye week, the New England Patriots get back into action on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills at home. The Patriots beat Buffalo 52-28 in late September. This week’s game could be another high scoring game for Patriots as they will be playing a injury riddled Buffalo team. Here are your CLNS [...]
David vs. Goliath
There's only so many ways you can talk about a bully beating up the nerdy kid and stealing his lunch money before it gets boring.
I tried to come up with a new angle to discuss the Bills-Patriots "rivalry" for this week's predictions post, but ended up taking a different approach for my submission because it got too lengthy. Instead, I thought I'd...
