Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson isn't fighting to get his team into the 2011 NFL playoffs, but simply fighting to keep $300,000.It's being reported that Johnson risk losing $300K if he doesn't reach a 1,000 yards when he face off against the Houston Texans Sunday. KEEP IN MIND, THIS IS THE SAME PLAYER WHO REACHED 2,000 YARDS LAST YEAR. The Titans can reach the NFL playoffs, with a little help. With a win against the Houston Texans, along with Cincinnati lose to Baltimore, the Titans can slide into the 6th seed, wild card, spot. In the game against the Texans, on Sunday, Johnson would need 14 yards to reach the 1,000 yard mark for the season, WHICH MOST LIKELY HE'LL REACH. When Johnson got his four-year extension back in April, there was a clause written into the contract which stated that his 2012 salary would decrease from $8 million to $7.7 million, a $300,000 decrease, if he failed to reach 1,000 yards in the 2011 season.

Can the Baltimore Ravens win this week on the road when it really matters?
With the current number two seed in the AFC playoff picture, an 11-4 overall record, you would think life is great for the Baltimore Ravens, but one major task remains, win one more game on the road in order to secure a first-round bye and the number two seed. The chore sounds easy enough for a team with the talent the Baltimore Ravens possesses, but road games have been the downfall...

Throughout the NFL, there are many players who sit at the bottom of the depth chart hoping for one shot to prove himself. Some of these players have to battle week in and week out just for a roster spot. I have narrowed it down to 5; these are the players most deserving of more playing time.

Tennessee Titans (8-7) vs. Houston Texans (10-5)
The Tennessee Titans are going to be plenty motivated in this game. They need a win, a Bengals’ loss against the Ravens and a Jets win over the Dolphins to get into the playoffs. All of those things could happen this Sunday. The Titans will be looking for revenge against a Texans’ team that whacked them hard 41-7 in Nashville earlier this year. The Texans are...
