With the strong showing of reigning Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III from Baylor in the NFL Draft Combine, word is coming out that the Redskins are among a trio of teams who are willing to make a ‘blockbuster’ trade with the St. Louis Rams for the second pick in order to acquire the dazzling QB. Griffin has certainly lived up to the hype that was with him as he touched down in Indianapolis for this years Draft Combine. His Friday interview was said to have gone very well and with his measurements of 6’3 and 225 pounds, well anyone knows that he has the makings to be a special player in the National Football League. Griffin showed just how special of an athlete that he is on Saturday when he was clocked at 4.38 in the forty yard dash which according to the NFL Network was the fastest 40 yard dash by a QB in the last 12 years.
