NFL Trade Rumors:
According to Sheil Kapadia of Philly Mag, Eagles WR Jason Avant, who is coming off of a career-high 53 catch season, could be on the hot seat and might even lose out to another receiver for a roster spot this season.
Avant, 30, will be competing with names such as Arrelious Been, Russell Shepard, Riley Cooper, Damaris Johnson and Clay Harbor just to name a few. It’s plausible that if one of those five puts on a better performance in training camp, Avant could be a camp causality.
Under Chip Kelly’s new offense, the tight end position is a key cog that keeps the passing game moving, which is bad news for the receivers as is. It’s possible the lower tier of receivers see very few snaps if tight ends are on the field so often.
Even if Avant’s time is drawing to an end in Philadelphia, his skill set and veteran presence would make him very attractive for a club looking to add a skilled receiver to the depth chart during camp.

Because of the uncertainty of their quarterback situation, I will not project any of their quarterbacks. None of the three should be drafted.

There are few things in sports fandom better than when you actually agree with the ownership of your team. So in an era when playoff games haven't existed for a very long time for Eagle fans, and the games have been an utter tire fire, there is something tremendously reassuring about what's been going on for weeks now.Namely, all of the draft picks have been signed...
