PLAYERS: Tony Romo
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys
There are a lot of Cowboy’s fans wondering when Jerry Jones is going to smarten up and hire the team a general manager. The fans are saying the Cowboys can’t be a constant contender in the NFL as long as Jones continues to be the teams G.M.. The fans think Jones is trying to do too much and they think bringing in a general manager that knows football can help the Cowboys return to the Cowboys of old, the Winning Dallas Cowboys. The reaction of these fans comes after the Cowboys had a hard time moving the football in their preseason game against the Raiders on Monday night. Many of these fans have said Jones won’t listen to anyone and he thinks he has all the answers when it comes to running the football team. The fans are frustrated with the Dallas Cowboys lack of an offensive line, and they think having a guy that knows football will enable the team to go out and get talented players to improve the  line to get Tony Romo the protection he needs. The fans are saying the problems wit...

Cowboys scrambling after Witten spleen injury

OXNARD, Calif. Jason Wittens spleen injury has the Dallas Cowboys scrambling for help at the tight end position while also hoping the All-Pros recovery does not impact his availability for the teams regular-season opener on Wednesday, Sept. 4 against the Giants. In Monday's preseason game at Oakland, the star tight end caught a short pass from pressured quarterback Tony Romo...

Dallas Cowboys: Kyle Orton Brings Drama To Big D

Yes, J.R. Ewing brought his drama back to Dallas this season on TNT. Still, I don't think it will match the drama coming out of Cowboys Stadium this year. Why? Kyle Orton specializes in drama and he is the new backup quarterback to Tony Romo. You may remember Orton got caught up in the "Guiding Tebow Light" drama last season with the Denver Broncos. After a mediocre...

Cowboys LB Caleb McSurdy To Have Season-Ending Achilles Surgery

Cowboys linebacker Caleb McSurdy will have season-ending surgery on Friday to repair a torn Achilles tendon. "He's back in Dallas right now. He's going to have the surgery tomorrow," said Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett following Thursday's practice. "It is a tough injury. One of the things that young players, and really all players need to understand...

NFL Preseason Preview: Cowboys Visit Chargers, Aiming To Stay Healthy

The Dallas Cowboys have been held back by poor offensive line play over the last few years and even though they made it a priority this offseason, it appears the team – at least temporarily – is back to square one. You can expect that to directly affect their game plan as they prepare for the San Diego Chargers in Week 2 of the preseason. Dallas Cowboys @ San Diego Chargers The...

Jackie Chiles wouldn’t have taken this burned butt lawsuit against the Cowboys

Granted, Jackie Chiles is a fictional character but let us not dither over such trivial details. The fact remains that if Mr. Chiles were somehow a real-life attorney possessing the same scheming mentality, it’s doubtful that even he would have been able to hold his nose enough to sign on to advocate for this woman [...]

Where did she burn her booty T? Cowboys Coach Jason Garrett Says Team Haven't Discussed Adding WR Chad Johnson

The Dallas Cowboys are a little short on experience at wide receiver and so naturally the question came up about adding Chad Johnson. “We haven’t had any discussions about Chad Johnson,” Jason Garrett said according to Josh Ellis of Dallascowboys.com. For the time being, the Cowboys will remain patient at receiver. Jerry Jones said last week the team would compare the available...

Don’t Mock the Mock Draft: 5th Round Analysis (12 Team – PPR)

The 5th round marked a time for owners to gamble on a few RBs with question marks as Roy Helu and Frank Gore seem to be trending downward as we approach September. The depth at the QB position was apparent once again as Mike Vick (considered a first round fantasy talent last preseason) and Tony Romo were left in the green room until the completion of round 5.

2013 NFL Preview: Dallas Cowboys Edition

Previewing the NFL,  from A to Z     Few things went the way the Dallas Cowboys expected last season.  They were in the thick of the playoff race until the regular season’s final game, within a score of the eventual-champion New York Giants in the fourth quarter.  But the Dallas Cowboys finished 8-8 and out of the postseason mix.  Now let’s be fair, this is the third...
