ARLINGTON, Texas -- Following Sunday's 44-7 victory over the Buffalo Bills, Cowboys inside linebacker Sean Lee said his injured left wrist is healing faster than he thought. Lee, who led the Cowboys with four tackles, played with a club-like cast on his left wrist and hand. The second-year starter said he played through "manageable" pain in his dislocated wrist despite taking some pain medication before the noon kickoff. But as Lee pointed out, there's only so much that pain medicine can do for the type of injury he suffered. "There's no way around broken bones and torn ligaments," he said. "It's going to hurt. It was pain that will hopefully get better week-to-week. I think the more I play with the cast the better I'll get." Although he said it was "frustrating" to play with the "heavy" protection, there appears to be some good news for the second-round pick out of Penn State. "It's healing faster than I thought," Lee said. "With the way it's healing I'll be surprised if I need the cast all year." As the healing process continues, Lee said the more likely it is that the current cast can be switched to something with more mobility. Follow Jon Machota on Twitter: @jonmachota

Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray Buddy Up To Give Dallas Cowboys Hope

Tony Romo has a new best friend. Or, he should have, anyway. And that has made Tony Romo a more effective quarterback. Romo completed 23 of 26 passes on Sunday for...

Lee: Playing With Cast Was "Tough In Certain Situations"

If you noticed something different about Cowboys’ inside linebacker Sean Lee on Sunday, it likely had something to do with the large, white cast on his left hand and wrist, a protective measure applied last week after he suffered a dislocated wrist in the Cowboys loss to Philadelphia, two weeks back. Lee recorded four tackles, but admitted afterward that he struggled in some...

Bill to Play Cowboys in Old Backyard, Literally

Sunday's Cowboys game will be quite a homecoming for one member of the opposing team. The Buffalo Bills running back Fredrick Jackson (#22) will be playing literally in his former backyard and taking on the team he was a lifelong fan of -- the Dallas Cowboys. Jackson's whole family will be watching. His identical twin brother, Patrick, drove to Arlington Saturday to cheer...
