Cowboys WR Danny Coale To Remain Sidelined Until Early August

A sourced said Cowboys rookie wide receiver Danny Coale is expected to remain sidelined until early August, according to Rainer Sabin of the Dallas Morning News. Coale, a fifth-round pick, has yet to be medically cleared since undergoing surgery in May to repair a fracture in his left foot he suffered on the first day of organized team activities. He said in June it was his goal to practice during the preliminary three-day camp next week at Valley Ranch, where rookies, quarterbacks and injured players will convene. “I think we can accomplish it,” he asserted. But now that won’t happen. While Coale has yet to be given a clean bill of health, two other draft picks unable to participate in OTAs are ready to return to action.
