Former Boise State Bronco and now Dallas Cowboy, Tyrone Crawford looks to make an impact on Rob Ryan's defense. Picked in the third round the Cowboys were excited to see Crawford still available. Looking to strengthen the defensive line Crawford's pass rushing ability and quick off the line speed should compliment Demarcus Ware creating better run stopping opportunities for the linebackers.
In two years at Boise State, Crawford (6-foot-4, 285 pounds) had 13.5 sacks and 27 tackles for loss. Last year the Cowboys’ had 42 sacks, only 10.5 came from the defensive line, led by Jason Hatcher’s four and half. If Crawford can stay healthy and progress through training camp the cowboys will solidify their defensive line and may even alter Ryan's usual 3-4 scheme to a 4-3 alignment.
