Found August 18, 2012 on Football Nation:
The Dallas Cowboys drafted Morris Claiborne with the 6th overall pick in the 2012 Draft. Claiborne failed to make it on the field during the Cowboys' first preseason game, but will be playing tonight against the San Diego Chargers. Unfortunately for Claiborne, the Cowboys' defense looked outstanding in coverage opening night. The defense didn't do much to stop Darren McFadden the first series, but ended up with a shutout against the Oakland Raiders thanks to a late missed field goal.  Coordinator Rob Ryan's defense finally appeared up to the challenge of finishing games. They didn't give up a touchdown on the final series. A huge plus for the Cowboys moving in to 2012. Although they weren't defending against the New York Giants. Cornerback Brandon Carr is quickly becoming a leader of the squad and is reportedly very positive and vocal with younger players on both sides of the ball. Carr is everything the Cowboys wanted and more when they signed him. ...

When you are worth around $2 billion and own one of the most successful franchises (from a business standpoint) in all of sports, very few lawsuits should come as a surprise. However, something tells me even this one could surprise Jerry Jones. According to CBS in Dallas-Fort Worth, a woman named Jenelle Carrillo has filed a lawsuit against the Cowboys and Jones after she allegedly...

Has Rob Ryan Put the “D” Back In Dallas?

For several season the main problem in CowboyLandhas not been Tony Romo and the Cowboys offense.  Though they have at times have made mistakes that cost games the offense at least statistically has been pretty good.  They were 11th on total offense is 2011. The defense has been a different story.  In 2011 they were 16th in the league in giving up points, in 2010 they were 31st...

Cowboys preseason 2012: week two observations

"Demarco." "Polo." Find him if you can Cowboys lose to the Chargers, 28–20. Few things frustrate me more than NFL preseason football, mainly because it is almost football, but not quite. The other reason is that one is tempted to overrate the significance of individual and team performances. Some teams and lots of players are preseason superstars...
