Fantasy owners and Dallas Cowboys fans alike winced Sunday night when quarterback Tony Romo was pinched between two New York Giants, and went down in a heap. Romo was on the field for a bit and was in what looked to be serious pain. Well breathe easy guys, it looks like he’s going to be OK. Romo had X-rays on his ribs that came back negative on Monday. It looks like he just has bruised ribs, but the fact that he avoided a fracture is huge for the Cowboys and fantasy owners. During Dallas’ 36-31 win over the Giants on Sunday night, Romo threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns, while tossing an interception. Considering his injury came at the end of the first half and that he played through it for the rest of the game, this was probably not something that was going to keep Romo from missing games.
