As training camp nears, New York Giants owner John Mara has a bright outlook on running back David Wilson's recovery from neck surgery.
Wilson is close to being cleared by the team's doctors and will join the Giants' backfield competition which includes Rashad Jennings, rookie Andre Williams, Peyton Hillis, Michael Cox, and Kendall Gaskins.
"We expect him to be playing ... all signs are he'll be ready to go," Mara said, via Newsday's Tom Rock.
