Michael Vick ruled himself out for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys Thursday but the Philadelphia Eagles official injury report told a different story.
According to the team's Friday injury report, Vick is listed as questionable with the hamstring pull that has left him sidelined and limited in practice for the past two weeks.
The Eagles Friday practice is unique in that it is a light walkthrough, whereas most teams will practice at full speed and then dial it back on Saturday. Nevertheless Vick was listed as a full participant Friday, but little can be read into that because of the light nature of the work.
The Eagles look to snap a seven-game losing streak at Lincoln Financial Field having not won on their home field since September 30 2012 and it will likely be Nick Foles making the start. First place will be on the line in the NFC East.
Foles came on in relief of Vick two weeks ago at MetLife Stadium and led the Eagles to a 36-21 victory and won his first start of the season last week in Tampa Bay 31-20 while posting a 133.3 quarterback rating.
Left tackle Jason Peters is listed as probable with shoulder and finger injuries after missing Wednesday's practice.
Tight end James Casey missed last week's game with a groin injury and was listed as a full participant Friday as was punter Donnie Jones. Both are listed as probable.
The Eagles also listed running back Chris Polk as questionable. Polk suffered a shoulder injury in the Tampa game. He didn’t practice Wednesday, was limited Thursday and is listed as a full participant Friday.
