The Eagles win over the Giants 19-17 last night featured the RUN! LeSean McCoy ran the ball effectively in the second half which ultimately is why we all are happy this Monday morning. Along with the effective running, the Eagles had ZERO turnovers by Vick who was knocked around by the Giants all night. Calling more runs (36) than pass plays (30), Andy and Marty walk away with game balls along with McCoy and Vick.

What a difference the referees make in their first week back. In the closing seconds the flags were flying with both the Eagles and the Giants getting “questionable” penalties. This morning the NEW YORK talk or complaining most likely the central theme of why their Giants lost. The final flag against the Giants moved them back for a final 53 yard attempt to win the game. Giants kicker Tynes, with two tries (Reid timeout) dropped the attempt short of the crossbar. The flag, well from a Philly point of view made up for the prior questionable call against the Eagles.

Great hard-fought game that provided us with too much heartburn. Reid getting the game ball and Reid is off the hook for at least a week. Running the ball more than passing the ball and no turnovers the perfect formula for a WIN!Similar Posts:
