Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback E.J. Manuels knows full well that all eyes will be on him as the first QB to go in April's NFL Draft.
At the rookie symposium, he's taking in all he can about what to expect and what to avoid in his first year in the big boy's league.
“It’s a great responsibility,” Manuel said, via Tim Graham of the Buffalo News. “You’re always going to be watched, always going to be evaluated each and every day. You’ve got to take that responsibility and respect it. "
In being selected by the Bills, there's some added pressure from fans who are looking for the guy to take the team out of their seemingly never-ending slump, having last made the playoffs way back in 1999. “I had high expectations no matter where I went in the draft. I’m a natural competitor. I mean, that’s something I was going to work toward anyway. So I don’t feel any added pressure.”
