Former Detroit Lions RB Tatum Bell has every right to be concerned that his NFL career is in jeopardy following what he claims was a misunderstanding earlier this week when he took new Lions RB Rudi Johnson's bags from the locker room Monday after being released by the franchise. Johnson claims several items are missing, including money, credit cards and underwear. Two NFL personnel executives say his concerns are valid. "You can't have guys who steal from teammates in the locker room," said one general manager, who dealt with locker room theft in the past. "It's the simplest form of trust there is. You have stealing going on, it's bad for everybody. I've had players tell me the media was doing the stealing, It gets crazy and everybody is pissed. We didn't just put cameras in the locker room and around the building, we put latches on the lockers so that guys could bring in locks for their stuff."
