Could the 49ers Alex Smith go to the Chiefs?

Alas, it is time for Smith to explore other options. While Smith has had a less than stellar run in San Francisco, last year ...

Colin Kaepernick is surprised by the contents of his cup

After leading his team down to score a go-ahead touchdown, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick wanted to get something to drink.  Evidently, whatever was in that cup was not what he expected.  The look on his face is utterly priceless, and it is even funnier that he casually puts the cup back and grabs another.  You have to wonder, what was in that cup?

6-year-old Kaepernick fan raps about 49ers going to Super Bowl

Kaepernick spurned Cubs to continue football career

Colin Kaepernick drew the attention of major league baseball scouts as a senior in high school in Turlock, Calif. He could throw in the 90s and he had tossed two no-hitters. Name Change: HarBowl is catchy but Vindication Bowl tells the coaches stories

Call it the Harbowl if you like; we’ll all admit that both the name and the story line have a certain appeal – but Super Bowl XLVII is about much more than the battle between Jim and John that has been raging since boyhood. What's more impressive is how each of them led their teams this year. The bloodline story is compelling and media friendly, so it will be told often in...

San Francisco 49ers advance to Super Bowl XLVII

After going into the second half down by ten with a score of 24-14 and recovering from a once 17-0 deficit in the second quarter, the San Francisco 49ers rallied to the occasion and advanced to Super Bowl XLVII. For the second week in a row the Atlanta Falcons surrendered a major lead but have come up short this time to execute a last minute, game winning drive. Colin Kaepernick...

Super Bowl XLVII Quarterback Preview

Those who choose to hate on Super Bowl XLVII will surely point swiftly to the unsexy quarterback matchup. After years of being spoiled in the Super Bowl by guys like Brady, Manning, Manning, Brees, Rodgers and Roethlisberger, we're left with a matchup between Joe Flacco and Colin Kaepernick. Both are young and have superb skill sets, but neither is a household name to your average...

Niners moving Titletown USA out West?

When Jim Harbaugh and Alex Smith drove in the Giants' victory parade last fall, players on San Francisco's championship baseball team hoped they might be able to return the favor if the 49ers could win it all a few months later.

49ers Comeback To Beat Falcons And Move On To Super Bowl

The Atlanta Falcons were playing with house money. The monkey was off the Falcons back after barely beating the Seahawks last week. The Falcons were up 17 points and it looked like the home team had found a way to keep the 49ers highly ranked defense at bay. The Falcons defense was doing a great job containing Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers offense. Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones...
