Speaking on on ESPN's Oustide the Lines, former Raider and ex-teammate of JaMarcus Russell, Dominic Rhodes said Russell would fall asleep in Raiders team meetings. Rhodes also revealed that Russell would have to be tracked down when he took breaks from meetings and forgot to come back. "I don't think he has the mindset to be great," Rhodes added. One former coach called Russell a "binge eater" while another former teammate said he "looked like a lineman" and was "more comfortable with a role as a backup."
