Chris Harris is the third safety for the Detroit Lions, so it’s hard to say how much of a role he will play in Sunday’s game when he faces the Chicago Bears, the team that cut him two weeks ago. But Harris is doing all he can during the week to assist the Lions offense as it prepares for the game at Soldier Field against an opponent it knows well. According to the Detroit Free Press, Harris has been sitting in on quarterback meetings when they watch film. “Any questions they have or ask -- 'What is this? What is that?' -- I guess I can give them further detail," Harris said. "Not that they don't already know. They are very familiar with this team, playing them twice a year and being in the same division.” It’s something that goes on in every NFL city every season. What secrets or tips might players have that can provide an advantage on the field. It might be something subtle. It might be nothing at all. "Obviously, these are two teams that know each other very well," Detroit coach Jim Schwartz said. "Neither team really tries to trick the other one. I think that there's not a whole lot that's going to be gleaned from Chris, or if they grabbed one of our players."
