Tony Romo has thrown eight touchdown passes and just one interception--which was more Martellus Bennett’s fault than Romo’s--over the team’s last four games, and he was just about ten points off of a perfect quarterback rating against the Buffalo Bills last week.
But head coach Jason Garrett deflected a question about whether this is the best we’ve seen Romo this week, opting instead to temper his praise of the quarterback by saying that he, as the rest of the team, still has room for improvement.
"I think Tony's playing pretty well," Garrett said, per the Dallas Morning News. "We'll go back and watch the tape and there's some things that we always like and there's some things that we don't like. There were some plays in the game the other day that he certainly wants to have back. For the most part, he's playing awfully well. He's doing a really good job making plays, making big plays down the field, throwing touchdown passes, the ones that everyone recognizes.
