The move comes just in time for New York's first practice of training camp on Wednesday.
Bellinger was selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL draft after playing four seasons at San Diego State. During his time with the Aztecs, the 21-year-old recorded 68 receptions for 771 yards and five touchdowns across 31 career games.
The Giants said goodbye to tight ends Evan Engram and Kyle Rudolph via free agency in the offseason. Bellinger is expected to contend for the starting job with fellow newcomers Ricky Seals-Jones and Jordan Akins.
