“Hope is the only thing stronger than fear.” This is a powerful quote from the recent worldwide phenomenon The Hunger Games. Hope is something that all NFL teams possess at this point in the season. No team should be afraid of what the season holds because every team is undefeated and has the same chance to make it to the Super Bowl. Hope is also an emotion that could...
JAG-ri-culture!You know what my fantasy is?#453620146 / gettyimages.comMy fantasy is that someday the Jags are actually a fantasy preview that someone clicks on with any sense of urgency and interest whatsoever. There have been years in the past where the Jags provided not one but two solid Fantasy RB options with MJD and Fred Taylor. 2014 is the first year in over a decade where...

After Denard Robinson’s Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the Detroit Lions in a preseason game last night, Robinson met with people in the media, some of whom covered Robinson while he was a star at Michigan. Will the injury woes continue? Our friends at numberfire.com […]

If you listened to last night’s Sunday Night Football broadcast on NBC you probably heard Chris Collinsworth say on a number of occasions that this is the hardest time of the year for NFL coaches. He wasn’t referring to injuries or the preseason schedule; he was talking about roster cuts.
By 4:00 eastern time tomorrow each NFL team must cut their rosters from 90 players down...
At some point, the Jacksonville Jaguars coaching staff may have to change its tune when it comes to Blake Bortles. The rookie quarterback went out again and showed that he could play in an offense with the first team and show success. The 13-12 loss in Detroit wasn’t a true indication of what happened on Friday night. What Bortles did on the field was – a bold statement that...

On Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars were a few days ahead of the Tuesday dead line to cut the team’s roster from 90 down to 79. The Jaguars cut eleven players to make the roster set at 79. In addition, there are a few surprise players on that list, watching the social media many fans are shocked at some of the players whom were cut by the team.
1. All eyes are on the quarterback battle. As Blake Bortles, upon entering the game late in the second quarter, brought enthusiasm and energy into the game that Chad Henne had lacked, showing the playmaking skills that were missing the entire first half and immediately picking up the pace and play of the entire offense. That included the line, which was being pummeled by Detroit...
Raiders running back Maurice Jones-Drew broke off a 40-yard touchdown during Friday's preseason game at Green Bay.Fantasy Spin:Jones-Drew rushed for 3.4 yards per carry with the Jaguars last season, but he did still have five gains of at least 20 yards and two of 40 or more.
