The Patriots got a surprising boost Friday when LB Jerod Mayo practiced with the team less than two weeks after spraining his MCL. His estimated time out was 4-6 weeks. Not only did he practice, but he is listed as “Questionable” (50/50 chance of playing) for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Personally, I don’t think he’ll play with the Pats’ bye week right around the corner, but his quick return is remarkable.
