Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently explained why he never pursued Peyton Manning after the Colts released him a couple of years ago. “I was so committed to Romo, so committed to his future,” Jerry Jones said Friday on KRLD-FM. “Of course, Peyton has been a friend for a long time and someone we respect a lot. There were a lot of moving parts during that particular time. The real reason it didn’t work out is because we are as committed as we are to Tony.” Jones certainly showed us how much he values Tony Romo after he signed him to a six-year, $108 million contract this past offseason. Jones made the right choice in sticking with Romo.  If he had tried to bring in Manning it would have created a very uncomfortable situation with Romo.  And there was no guarantee that Manning would have signed with the Dallas.   Need NFL Tickets? Peyton Manning fools everyone in America by rushing for touchdown (GIF)

Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos won an incredible game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, kicking a game-winning field goal as time expired to seal a 51-48 victory. Just when we thought we had seen it all from Manning through the first five games of the 2013 season, he went and scored a rushing […]

Photo: Man wins $54k on 18-game parlay

A lucky man is $54,268.91 richer today after cashing out an 18-game parlay that included Peyton Manning's Broncos winning on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. The man risked just $282.00 and had a 0.0000001469 percent chance of actually winning. But thanks to Manning, and some extremely close calls in the Texas, Stanford, and Ohio State games, he emerged an improbable...

Broncos, Manning win shootout vs. Cowboys, 51-48

For the players who have a locker at Dove Valley for John Fox and his coaching staff for John Elway and his front office here's hoping they don't suffer from insecurity. This is not so much about the Denver Broncos. This is about Peyton Manning. It was Manning's quarterback brilliance that beat the Dallas Cowboys 51-48 in a Texas-style shootout here Sunday before a crowd...

Denver Bronco indirectly remind us just how much the Jaguars suck this season

Tweet In case you haven’t been paying attention, Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos offense has looked like something out of a game of Madden over the first five weeks of the season. Romo on putting in 'Manning-type time on the job'

IRVING, Texas -- After Tony Romo signed a new contract in the offseason, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said his quarterback would be putting in "Peyton Manning-type time on the job" around the practice facility. Meme: Tony Romo cologne is perfect if you want the other guy to score

Dallas Cowboys fans might say Tony Romo stinks, but the man actually smells great - if you want the other guy to score.

Don’t Blame Tony Romo

I don’t know how you can watch yesterday’s game and blame Tony Romo for that loss. It’s easy to get caught up in the narrative that Romo isn’t clutch, but to blame is for that loss is idiotic and lazy.  Yet to nobody’s surprise the Romo bashers were out in full force. See here and here. It’s stupid and moronic, yet it continues. There are plenty of fanbases (Houston...

Jerry Jones “So Proud Of Romo” After Tough Loss To Broncos

Jerry Jones knows what he has at quarterback. Tony Romo may not be Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, or Drew Brees, but not many are either.  What he is without a doubt is a top-notch quarterback who played the game of his life on Sunday before throwing another late game interception. Romo is who he is, and I think Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is ok with that. Jones, who may...

Tony Romo throws pick to end his 506-yard career day

Those who tuned into the Dallas Cowboys vs. Denver Broncos were in for a real treat as both Peyton Manning and Tony Romo lit it up, thoroughly carving up the respective opposing defenses all the way to 48-48 tie in the final minutes.
