Getty Images Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently said that he was too upset with wide receiver Dez Bryant after his offseason behavior to speak with him. Jones explained on Tuesday why he didn’t want to talk to Bryant. “One of the reasons is I didn’t want to talk to him emotionally,” Jones said. “As a daddy sometimes, you’re not supposed to spank when you’re mad. Like I said the other day, I wanted to get my information, but I also wanted to get my mind right so we could have a good talk about things.” Jones has said that he’s now spoken with Bryant.  He’s been happy with what he’s seen from him on the field so far during camp. “He’s been very impressive,” Jones said. “And he’s working hard. He has big blisters on both feet. He’s practicing lights out. He’s practicing really well.”
