When the New England Patriots decided to pull the plug in the Zach Sudfeld experiment, you just knew who was going to pick him up.
That hunch came to fruition late Friday, as Rex Ryan and the New York Jets welcomed the rookie tight end to the Big Apple Circus, reported Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.
The tall, athletic Sudfeld looked great in the offseason, but seemed to have turned the switch off once the season started, punctuated by his missed catch in week one that turned into Tom Brady's first interception of the season. Sudfeld also injured his hamstring on that play.
