Found April 25, 2013 on NFL Draft Zone:
Kansas City Chiefs general manager John Dorsey said he has been in trade talks with the Miami Dolphins regarding Chiefs left tackle Branden Albert throughout Wednesday morning and expects to have more conversations into the evening about completing a deal. Dorsey added, in a pre-draft interview with NFL Network and NFL.com, that time is running short to reach a trade as the NFL draft begins Thursday evening. There are rumors saying that the coaches really want Eric Fisher the Offensive Tackle from Central Michigan, but the GM and the upper echelon want Luke Joeckel from Texas A&M.  The problem is if they cannot deal Branden Albert the Chiefs might be forced to take Fisher who fits a RT mold better. Albert already said he does not want to be a right tackle, which leads me to believe the Dolphins will find a way to trade for BA.  The problem that was in the limelight yesterday was the money that Branden Albert was requesting. They were saying he wanted Jake Long money.  If that is the case, the Dolphins should let the Chiefs keep him and then hope they can trade up with someone and get a starting tackle in the draft.  I really feel that the Dolphins will be in a worse situation if they get Albert than if the don’t.  We shall see.
