According to Geoff Mosher of CSNPhilly.com, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald told him that back in 2008 the Philadelphia Eagles tried to acquire him by offering the Cardinals a first and third round pick in exchange for Fitzgerald.

The Cardinals of course never made the deal happen and they instead locked him up to a long-term deal.

Just imagine Larry Fitzgerald in the Eagles high-powered offense for one moment.  You would have to think they would have made it back to at least one more Super Bowl. Maybe be they’d even have their first ever Lombardi Trophy by now.
