Cowboys OLB Anthony Spencer signed his franchise-tag tender on Monday, guaranteeing his $8.856 million salary for the 2012 season. Spencer, a first-round pick of the team in 2007, has recorded 21½ sacks in five seasons. He has played in all 48 games for Dallas the past three years, starting 47 of them, mainly playing across from All-Pro DeMarcus Ware. In his career, Spencer has recorded 266 tackles to go along with 10 forced fumbles and one interception.
