The Detroit Lions closed out the week of practice still without starting safeties Amari Spievey and Louis Delmas.
Also sitting out Friday were defensive linemen Corey Williams and Kyle Vanden Bosch.
Williams has missed six consecutive practices with a lingering knee injury. Vanden Bosch had not previously appeared on the injury report this week.
Practicing for the second consecutive day for the Lions were cornerback Chris Houston, wide receiver Calvin Johnson and defensive end Cliff Avril.

The Lions are disappointing their fans this season. This week their weak defense is facing Aaron Rodgers. I just hope they don't give up 50.
After a rough Week 10, I'm sitting at 92-54-1. Who wants to keep track of a tie.

The Detroit Lions placed safety Amari Spievey on injured reserve Saturday, ending his season, to make room for cornerback Drayton Florence on the 53-man roster.
Spievey, a third-round draft pick out of Iowa in 2010, missed the last three games because of a concussion. It was his second concussion in less than a year.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. Calvin Johnson has that look right now of an elite athlete who refuses to be denied.
It wasn't enough to help his team, the Detroit Lions, win their last game in Minnesota, but Johnson certainly did all he could do.

Lions receiver Ryan Broyles was fined $10,000 for his illegal crackback block on Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield in last Sunday's 34-24 loss.
