Stafford finished the night with a 158.3 quarterback rating, after completing 12-of-14 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns. The former No. 1 pick took a few licks but his surgically repaired shoulder looked just fine. He made the Patriots defense look dazed and confused as he averaged a hearty 14.3 yards per completion. “I think we’re playing pretty much mistake-free football the last couple games as far as turnovers go,” Stafford said. “I think as an offense, we’re doing a good job of not turning the ball over and when you do that you’re going to have a chance to be in some games.
