Found October 26, 2013 on The Football Fan Spot:
Miami Dolphins (3-3) at New England Patriots (5-2) Tom Brady has not played well this season. A lot of people are giving him a pass because of the state of his receiving corps and that’s obviously been an issue, but you can’t give him a total pass. His arm strength is noticeably diminished, something that’s been a trend over the past few seasons, and his timing and accuracy have been off as well. He’s completed fewer than 50% of his passes 3 times this season, something he had previously done just 3 times since week 2 of the 2006 season. He has failed to throw a touchdown in 2 of his last 3 games, after throwing one in his previous 52. ProFootballFocus grades him out as the 21st best passing quarterback this season, in between Michael Vick and Carson Palmer. Brady got Rob Gronkowski back last week, but still completed less than 50% of his passes in an eventual loss to the Jets. You can argue whether or not that pushing penalty should have been called, considering the stakes and how ...

Tom Brady Says His Mechanics Are Fine

Tom Brady has put together, statistically, a sub-par season, especially for a quarterback of his caliber. After putting together a 52 game streak in which he threw at least one touchdown pass, Brady has failed to record one in two of the last three games. He has recorded one game with a passer rating north of 100 and he is on pace to throw for his least amount of yards since the...

Patriots Match-Up Mania: Tom Brady Vs. His Mirror

This is not a case of me offering a fashionista critique of Tom Brady that leads to calling him a “pretty boy” player. Tom Brady Playing Against Dolphins With What Looks Like Swollen Throwing Hand (Photo)

Tom Brady‘s first pass of the game went for an interception on Sunday, and the reason behind his accuracy issues might be a swollen hand. Brady smacked his hand off the helmet of a Jets defender during last week’s loss in the Meadowlands, causing him to stretch and flex the hand quite a bit while on the sidelines during the second half of that game. It appears that the hand isn’t...

NFL Week 8: Dolphins @ Patriots

Tom Brady needs to raise his production level in Week 8 against the Dolphins Referees aside, Tom Brady and the Patriots did not execute well enough to earn a victory against the Jets in the controversial finish at Metlife Stadium last week. Despite the return of Gronkowski (17 tgts, 8 rec, 114 yds), TB12 finished the 30-27 OT loss with an uncharacteristic 53.5 QBR, completing 22...

Surely you’re familiar with ESPN’s Body Issue, this year featuring golfer Gary Player. It seems like Gisele Bündchen and Vogue Paris are aware of it too, as Tom Brady’s wife and the magazine teamed up to take some body issue like photos. That is some kind of weird pose, maybe a French sport we haven’t heard of? Anyhoo, we’re not complaining, and there’s more from Bündchen...

Dolphins face stiff challenge trying to end skid vs. Patriots

DAVIE, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins face an unenviable task in trying to snap a three-game losing streak. They'll be visiting the AFC East-leading New England Patriots, who are coming off a loss. Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots: Five Things We Learned

Every team deals with injuries throughout the course of a season, but the New England Patriots have been especially decimated on both sides of the ball coming into this week's contest with the Miami Dolphins. The Patriots have lost four key (and by key I mean the four best players on the field) defenders in Wilfork, Kelly, Mayo, and Talib while just seeing the return of Gronkowski...
