For Patriots fans this has been a rough off-season. For everyone else it has been a treat; the mighty may have finally toppled. Finally, one of the many chances that the Patriots and head coach Bill Belichick took back fired on them. Not that what is going on with Aaron Hernandez is good of course; it's tragic to say the least. After playing with fire so many times the Patriots finally got burned. The big question of course is whether they learned anything from it or if they are still a win at all cost kind of team. Faithful New England fans will be glad to hear that it does appear as if the team has learned a lesson.
