Over the course of the weekend, it was rumored that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers might be in the market to trade RB LeGarrette Blount in the wake of signing a new one-year contract worth $1.75 million with no guaranteed money. According a new report, the Buccaneers might have another member of last year’s offense on the trade block, WR Arrelious Benn. Rick Stroud reports on Twitter, “Bucs are shopping WR Arrelious Benn, former second-round pick.” This comes as little surprise, especially to Buccaneers fans. Benn has been a major disappointment since being selected 39th overall. Benn was selected in the same draft as Mike Williams, but has never even come close to living up to his draft position. Benn struggled with injuries last season and in his career has recorded 59 receptions for 862 yards and five touchdowns. In comparison, Mike Williams has 193 catches for 2,731 yards and 23 scores in the same time period. Despite playing for a minimum salary in 2013, Benn should be considered to ...
