The Oakland Raiders are likely going to be without their speedy running back Darren McFadden for their last two games, and it is becoming apparent that they will be without him again this week against the Minnesota Vikings.
McFadden has struggled to stay healthy during his career in the NFL and this season is no different as he deals with a mid-foot sprain. The Arkansas product posted a career year in 2010, finally living up to his high first-round draft pick status. McFadden appeared to be on track for another solid season in 2011 prior to his foot injury.
RB Michael Bush has become the starting running back for the Raiders in McFadden’s absence. Bush was re-signed in the offseason as insurance for McFadden and has accounted for 482 total yards and two scores in the last three games.Bush is slated for free agency at the conclusion of this season.
