It was a great weekend to watch NFL TV wasn't it Bucs fans? We got to see the return of NFL on the tube, and one of our own, Warren Sapp, inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame!
I especially enjoyed the NFL Films show about Sapp, "Relentless" as it was a very well documented trip down memory lane. Where there a few parts that were a bit off? Sure, there always will be. No one recounts history like history herself.
But the one thing I found missing most was the name....the Bucs first defensive star on that great defense, one name that was there in the formation, Hardy Nickerson.
Nickerson seems to be coming up missing when people talk about the turn around of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and that is not only unfair, but untrue, to think it was all Warren Sapp and Derrick Brooks.
Double nickle himself will tell you, Hardy "hardware" Nickerson took Brooks under his wing as a rookie linebacker in 1995, and was one of the first players responsib...

Going into the Hall of Fame is a reason for celebration. Without question on the field Warren Sapp was a Hall of Fame player.
He has had some bumps in the road since retirement, but good to see him enjoying himself at the HOF party.
Surprised he didn’t tear an ACL with all that jerking.
Warren Sapp is bringing his big-time personality to the NFL Hall of Fame with the very first braided bust.
During Warren Sapp’s interview with Michelle Tafoya during the Hall of Fame Game, Cris Carter decided to have a bit of fun. Carter wasted no time during this video bomb, starting as soon as the interview did. The players who were inducted into the Hall of Fame seem to be having a great time this weekend, as they should, and the sideline interviews with the Hall of Famers never...
Sunday night ushered in the beginning of the preseason with the Hall of Fame Game. The contest between the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins was about what you would expect--eh. But it was the first game for fans since February so I don't know about y'all, but I was darn glad to watch it.
The great thing about the Hall of Fame Game is that what it lacks on the field it...

At long last, a half-speed, reasonable facsimile of the sport we love.
Thanks to Warren Sapp, there is now a bust in Canton with braids. BRAIDS! A hallmark of me-firstiness among the luminaries of the game? Why, it’s only a matter of time until we have one with facial tattoos, and then whatever crusty sportswriters remain at that time can wring their arthritic hands into dust...
Cris Carter is so happy to finally be in the Hall of Fame.
Carter who finally had his dream come true, displayed some extra personality during last nights Hall of Fame game between the Cowboys and Dolphins.
Carter video bombed Warren Sapp during an interview Sunday night, and was even smooth enough to whisper a “Come On Man.’
