Green Bay wide receiver Jordy Nelson missed practice for the second straight day and Randall Cobb was sent home from Wednesday's practice with the flu. The Packers' receiving corps has not been healthy for the most of the year, but head coach Mike McCarthy thinks both Nelson and Cobb should be able to play when Green Bay takes on San Francisco on Saturday night in an NFC Divisional playoff game. "I feel pretty confident the receiver position will be healthy for the game," McCarthy told the Wisconsin State Journal. "We've got a number of guys that are fighting through it. It's just that time of year here. But our doctors feel confident everybody will be ready for the game." McCarthy said the he hopes Nelson, who is battling an ongoing ankle injury will be able to practice Thursday. A third wide receiver, Jarrett Boykin, also missed Wednesday's practice.
