Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Cam Newton will replace Eli Manning of the New York Giants in the upcoming Pro Bowl.
The top overall pick of the 2011 draft, Newton completed 310 of 517 passes for 4,051 yards with 21 touchdowns and 17 interceptions this season.
Newton broke Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning's rookie passing mark of 3,379 yards, which was set in 1998.
The 22-year-old Newton also rushed 126 times for 706 yards and 14 scores.
Eli Manning won't be playing in the Pro Bowl. Instead, he'll be vying for his second Super Bowl title when he faces the New England Patriots.
