New England’s offense may be getting the bulk of the credit for the Patriots’ win over the Saints on Sunday afternoon, but it was their defense who put them in that position to pull off the dramatic victory.
The Pats’ defense shut down Drew Brees and Co., and most impressively they didn’t allow Jimmy Graham to haul in a single catch in the game. For the first time in 46 games, the star tight end was held without a reception, and to add insult to injury, the Saints were also handed their first loss of the season.
Former Patriots Jermaine Wiggins and Matt Chatham joined NESN’s Leah Hextall to explain how the Patriots were able to contain Graham. Check it out in the above video.
