Each week we analyze the match ups and provide our take on which Quarterbacks you should start and which should be sitting on your fantasy pine. We take several variables into account including matchups, injuries, potential weather problems, arrests, baby mama trouble, etc. Eli Manning is the only fantasy relevant QB with a week 11 bye as Jake Locker, Christian Ponder and Russ Wilson are not sniffing QB1 status anytime soon. On the injury front, Big Ben (shoulder) , Mike Vick (concussion) and Jay Cutler (concussion) are likely to be in street clothes.

Phil Simms: Eli Manning not an elite quarterback

Just when you thought Eli Manning had ended the “elite quarterback” discussion by winning a second Super Bowl, analyst Phil Simms had to stir it back up again. Simms, who played quarterback for the New York Giants from 1979-1993, said on CBS Sports Network’s “NFL Monday QB” that Manning is not elite. “No, he is not one of the elites,” Simms said, via the New York Daily...

Tom Couglin Calls Out Eli Manning’s Play: “Terrible” “Foolish”

Per a report for the New York Daily News Gary Myers, New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was so frustrated with his 2-time Super Bowl MVP quarterback Eli Manning that he used “terrible” and “foolish” to describe instances where Manning should have protected the ball better versus trying to make a play. Coughlin typically generalizes his criticism publicly, rarely singling...

Phil Simms Says Eli Manning, Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Dan Fouts Are Not Elite Quarterbacks

The word “elite” get thrown around in football a lot, but no one really knows what it refers to. Does it mean that player is currently Top 5 among their position? Does it mean they’re Top 10 at their position all time? Or does it mean that they’re a future hall of famer? To Phil Simms, it may be an even higher honor. Simms created some controversy on Monday when he said that...

There are more than a few similarities between this year’s New York Giants team and the one that clinched the Super Bowl last season, but that will not stop the fans worrying, after a shock defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals in week 10. The defeat was the Giants’ second in a row, sending the team into their bye-week knowing their hopes of reaching the play-offs rest on the team...

Former Giants legend Phil Simms believes Eli Manning of the New York Giants isn't an elite quarterback in this league despite he has won two super bowls. The current NFL analyst on CBS said this past Monday said Eli Manning is a tremendous player, but he is not up their with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgerts, etc. His reason is that Eli Manning isn't the type of...

How the New York Giants Are in the Perfect Situation…Sort of

To say that the New York Giants played a bad game on Sunday would be an understatement.  Watching that game, many would think that this was the worst game the Giants have played in recent years. After watching that game, it was hard to tell if the team that was just on the TV was the Giants or if it was a misprint and everyone just watched the Jets. Despite the horrendous game and...

Buy Low: MJD

They thought Jennings was the answer Juan… There are very few guys that you can stick on your bench and possibly win you a championship.  MJD is one of those guys.  Rashad Jennings stinks.  OK, he pretty much sucks…at least in comparison to MJD.  This is blatantly obvious when you watch this team play. Look, MJD can be probably be acquired for next to nothing (maybe) and...
