Washington Redskins running back Tim Hightower isn't going to enjoy his week five bye week. Why not? Because it's only October. Hightower told CSNWashington.com that:

"The fun will be in February when you guys are interviewing us up in Indy. That'll be fun. Very bold prediction. But I'm gonna stand by it."

We weren't born yesterday and realize that guarantees or "predictions" don't hold enough water to drown an ant, but it's still news. Hightower is quickly becoming just another running back on the Redskins as head coach Mike Shanahan is of the philosophy of playing the hot hand - which was owned by Ryan Torain this past week. So they're big words coming from a running back by committee.

A quarter of the way through the schedule, the 'Skins are 3-1 and tied atop the NFC East with the Giants. The Cowboys are 2-2 and the Eagles sit at 1-3. Not many outside the Redskins locker room could have predicted this start. And many less predicted before the season that Washington would finish better than in the cellar.

I guess all of the other NFC teams can start playing for better draft picks. It stinks that the Lions 4-0 start will go for naught. The only thing in question here is what the toxicology report will read when we can see just how High(tower) Timmy was.
