According to a report by WXYZ’s Tom Leyden, Lions defensive back Aaron Berry was arrested Saturday morning in Harrisburg, PA on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, two counts of causing accidental damage to an unattended vehicle or property and two counts of failure to stop and give information to law enforcement. Leyden cites sources who say Berry was driving near the Hilton Harrisburg Hotel where he proceeded to hit a group of parked vehicles. Berry allegedly then got out of his vehicle and left the scene on foot only to be tailed by a witness who eventually called the police. Berry was then arrested by Officer Duane Pyles at 4:45am and transported to the Harisburg Police Department where he was booked. To make matters worse, Berry was reportedly uncooperative during the booking process refusing to submit to a breathalyzer test, refused to give any personal information and according to further reports falsified information.
