A player on the Kansas City Chiefs has killed himself at the team facility, according to multiple reports.
Multiple outlets in Kansas City are reporting that police said the player shot and killed his girlfriend at a house before shooting himself at the team's Arrowhead facility.
"We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning," the Chiefs said in a statement. "We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation."
According to the Charlotte Observer, the NFL has told the Carolina Panthers to fly to Kansas City as planned to play their game against the Chiefs on Sunday.
