The Dallas Cowboys pulled the trigger and made a big post-season splash yesterday, firing defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, who confirmed the move to Tim McMahon of ESPNDallas.com.
Apparently, Ryan isn't too shocked or worried even one bit, reportedly saying “I’ll be out of work for like 5 minutes."

Ryan has been on the job for 2 years and had another year left on his contract. He's currently on vacation in Turks & Caicos with his wife, and just returned from dinner when he received the call from head coach Jason Garrett.
“It didn’t last long,’’ Ryan said of the call, according to the Dallas Morning News. “They want uncomfortable. I’m comfortably numb," taking a little jab at owner Jerry Jones' comments last week that things would be 'uncomfortable for at Valley Ranch after the team’s second consecutive 8-8 season. '
