What do you expect out of rookies? Mistakes, learning curves, droughts, and interceptions if your a quarterback. Most rookie classes have maybe two, if your lucky three, that show potential to be good players in the NFL. What about the over hype rookies before the actual season? Think about the names Ryan Leaf, Ki-Jana Carter, Lawrence Phillips, Trev Alberts, JaMarcus Russell, did I say Ryan Leaf and so on.The last over hype player from college to actually live up to the hype has been no other than Peyton Manning. The 1989 Draft was probably the last where they were stacked with good players and had more than a few Hall of Fame inductees. The first four out the five picks were Troy Aikman, Barry Sanders, Derrick Thomas, and Deion Sanders who are all Hall-of-Famers.Which brings us to this year's Draft. There were at least three hyped players coming out of the Draft who had the pressure to live up to it. There were also some surprises this year that is making a run for Rookie of the Year also. This might be the best rookie class yet. This list seems obvious but the catch is what order do they fall in.This top 5 list are judged by not only wins and stats but by their poise and their affect on their team.
