Found November 18, 2011 on NBC Dallas- Fort Worth:
After missing the past four games with a high ankle sprain, the Dallas Cowboys expect running back Felix Jones to return for the team’s match-up with the Washington Redskins on Sunday. Some have worried that Jones’ return could slow down the production of rookie DeMarco Murray, who emerged as a star in Jones’ absence, but Tony Romo believes that Jones’ presence will only help the team’s offense. "There won't be anything that’s going to be a downside in any way," Romo said, per ESPN Dallas. "Felix is only going to add to this offense. Felix is explosive and we’ll be able to use him in a lot of good ways. It's going to be good." Murray himself dismissed the notion that a rivalry would develop between he and Jones, once the latter returned to the field, and we're inclined to believe him. That said, we hope Jones' return doesn't do anything to impede Murray's rhythm, with which he's stacked up 601 rushing yards over the team's last f...

On Paper, This Might Become Romo’s Best Year

Tony Romo's passer rating of 97.7 is higher than any of his previous seasons.

Romo not reckless now: 0 INTs, sacks last 2 games

The best part of Tony Romo's last outing wasn't setting a Dallas Cowboys record by completing 88.5 percent of his passes. It was the zeros in his stat line, as in 0 interceptions and 0 sacks - again. Romo just pulled off back-to-back games without either of those drive-ruining plays. It's something no other quarterback has done this season and something he'd never...

This Just In: Tony Romo Is A Total Slob, Keeps Locker In State Of Disarray (Photo)

Courtesy of Dallas Cowboys safety Abe Elam comes this alarming image which privies us to the squalor Tony Romo wallows in while sitting in front of his locker. Not to be outdone, Romo’s locker neighbor, cornerback Frank Walker, similarly doesn’t seem to keen on tidying up after himself, presumably leaving the lowly locker room attendants [...]

Cowboys' Romo unfazed by critics, only focused on winning

There's no denying Tony Romo has endured plenty of criticism during this roller-coaster season, but the Cowboys QB won't let it bother him one bit. All he wants to do is win.

McGee will serve as backup to Romo Sunday

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Stephen McGee will be the No. 2 quarterback behind Tony Romo today after the Cowboys downgraded Jon Kitna from doubtful to out Saturday. The 39-year-old Kitna, who has a back injury, did not travel with the team to Washington. McGee has been active for three of Dallas’ nine games this season but hasn’t taken any snaps. The Texas A&M product played in...

Will Carroll: Returnees from injury proving worth of medical staffs

Matthew Stafford, Christian Ponder and Tony Romo each should have opportunities to step up on Sunday. Will Carroll explains why in his Week 11 fantasy upgrades and downgrades.

Cowboys injury report: Fiammetta out, Kitna doubtful

With Felix Jones set to return after missing four games with an ankle injury, the Dallas Cowboys entered the week hopeful they would have a full complement of backfield weapons available Sunday at Washington. But it turns out that won’t be the case after all: The Cowboys ruled fullback Tony Fiammetta out with an illness Friday. “We’re trying to get to the bottom of what it...

Cowboys vs. Redskins: Mentality of a Winner?

Have The Cowboys Taken The Redskins Seriously? It seems like the second game against Washington means something big every year. Last season, Jason Garrett was trying to prove he was the man for the Head Coaching job. In 2009, it was Dallas’ ticket to the playoffs. In 2008, it was Tony Romo’s return to the field after a four-week hiatus in which a win was necessary for the Cowboys...
