For the first time since he was acquired in a trade from Detroit Roy Williams will miss a game as a Cowboy. Williams did not accompany the Cowboys to Kansas City Saturday because of bruised ribs suffered last week at Denver. Williams had expressed hope he could play but did not practice all week and will be replaced in the starting lineup by Miles Austin. Jones hurt his knee two weeks ago against Carolina and did not play against the Broncos. He is expected to return Oct. 25 against Atlanta. This is the first time Williams will miss a game since a knee injury ended his 2007 season with four games to go with the Lions. Williams has 11 catches for 214 yards and a touchdown throught four games this year.
