Then you add Paul Richardson who you saw today went for that deep, deep ball that I threw to him. He’s looking exceptional as well. So I think our receiver group is probably one of the faster in the league right now, based on who we have.” Wilson will have plenty of options to throw to when the season starts.  “Yeah, the receivers, to be honest with you, that’s been the best looking position so far – with our offense, at least. They’ve done a tremendous job,” he said. “Their knowledge of the game, their explosiveness, Percy Harvin being out there finally healthy. He feels

Russell Wilson: Seahawks’ receivers ‘as fast as it gets’

The last time we saw the Seahawks' offense in action, they were lighting up the scoreboard en route to a 43-8 victory in Super Bowl XLVIII. Since then, the group has added depth, notably in the wide receiver corps, with the addition of second-round speedster Paul Richardson. Quarterback Russell Wilson expects his weapons -- new and old -- to blaze past the competition. “Yeah...

VIDEO: a vision of Christine Michael’s future

For now Marshawn Lynch is still the man for the Seattle Seahawks in the back field. Running backs coach Sherman Smith was asked recently if the team had any plans to lighten the work load for Lynch in 2014, and Smith replied it was out of the question. So it looks like full speed ahead for Beast Mode next season. However, the whispers are growing that Christine Michael may supplant...

Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Russell Okung named top-10 in the NFL

Typically speaking, sports fans tend to worry about two things – the past and the future. They’ll debate who was the greatest player of all-time, while also spending hours discussing whether or not a rookie is going to be develop into an All-Pro. Both are fun exercises, things that keep fans engaged and the beer flowing at the local tavern. But they miss out on what is most important...

Seahawks stars get pedicures together

Bros will be bros. This is an admitted first pedicure for Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin. And who better to talk dude talk or shades of pink with over a pedicure bowl, than fellow teammate Richard Sherman? Historic day for me today. Got my first pedicure. Look who decided to join: pic.twitter.com/vPcdgWV8uU — Doug Baldwin Jr (@DougBaldwinJr) June 1, 2014 As you can...

Seahawks former first rounder needed hip surgery on Monday

The Seattle Seahawks were hoping for big things from Bruce Irvin in 2014, but today the former first round reach (considered by many) had another set back.  The West Virginia pass rush specialist needed hip surgery.  Former first-round draft pick and third-year Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin underwent hip surgery on Monday. While the Seahawks […] The post Seahawks former...

Cam Newton challenges Richard Sherman to a game of Madden in an epic rant (Video)

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton challenged Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman to a game of Madden. Just some advice for you,  don’t call 1-888-CAM-PAIN. The only problem, however, is that the “1-888-CAM-PAIN” hotline isn’t what it seems. Dator writes that he called the number only to find himself dealing with a shady cruise-trip broker. “Out of curiosity I called...

VIDEO: Seahawks had unfinished business in 2013

Three months from today the 2014 NFL season will kick off when the Seattle Seahawks host the Green Bay Packers at CenturyLink Field. Three months. Three impossibly long months. Sigh. What are we going to do for three months? We can bring you all of the news, all of the analysis, all of the memes. None of it will actually compare to watching the Seahawks play live. If there was anything...

Lazy Sunday: the Seahawks weekend photo album

It’s June and summer is just around the corner. This means that it’s usually the slowest time of the year for NFL news. The draft is over, rookies have been signed, and OTAs are underway but the season is still a long way off. Let’s check in with the world champion Seattle Seahawks and see what they got up to this weekend. Yesterday wide receiver Doug Baldwin, who just signed...

Former first-round draft pick and third-year Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin underwent hip surgery on Monday. While the Seahawks confirmed Irvin’s surgery, there was no word on which hip was giving him trouble. No other details were immediately available and there was no official timetable for his return, but Irvin said on Twitter that he hopes to be back later this summer...

Bruce Irvin’s hip surgery reshuffles Seahawks’ linebackers

Seahawks linebackers could be involved in some of the fiercest position battles when training camp arrives. For now, though, as Seattle enters its second week of Organized Team Activities (OTAs), it’s a position group more notable for those who are missing. The latest addition to the list of walking wounded is Bruce Irvin, who the team said had hip surgery Monday. Coach Pete...

Can Any Team Stop the Seattle Seahawks in 2014-15?

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports So with three months remaining until the beginning of the 2014 NFL season and only the beginning of OTA’s, it may be premature to discuss who will come out on top in February, 2015. If Seattle Seahawks are able to repeat as Champions it will be the first time since the New England Patriots accomplished the same ten years ago (2004-05). With little off...

Seahawks Running Back Goes ‘Beast Mode’ For Big Gain During OTAs (Video)

Running back Marshawn Lynch has been absent during the Seattle Seahawks’ first week of organized team activities, giving some of the team’s under-the-radar backs a chance to shine. Among those vying for playing time in the Seattle backfield is 2013 second-round draft pick Christine Michael, who showcased some nice elusiveness during 11-on-11s. Michael obviously was pleased...

Seattle Seahawks: Richard Sherman Cashing in on Endorsement Deals

Not only is Richard Sherman the best defensive back in the NFL (sorry Patrick Peterson), he’s a character both on and off the field. The Seattle Seahawks cornerback has also stayed out of trouble off the field and is about as bright as they come.  So it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Sherman has inked endorsement deals with BODYARMOR and Campbell’s Chunky Soup...
