Russell Wilson and the Seahawks were too much for a banged up Robert Griffin III and the Redskins.  The Seahawks defeated the Redskins, 24-14, at a messy FedEx Field Sunday to move on to the NFC Divisional round next Sunday in Atlanta to face the 13-3 Falcons. The Redskins loss really falls on the hands of the coaches who let RGIII stay in this ball game and essentially play on one leg out there.  Every throw he made after the first quarter was coming off one leg missing out on receivers and struggling to scramble and run for first downs as he is used to doing.  The rookie star QB took his final hit of the game with 6:19 remaining when he fumbled and would not get up giving the Seahawks the ball at the Redskins five yard line.  While RGIII told coaches he wanted to stay in, he was not capable of playing better than backup Kirk Cousins.  It would have been better to have a healthy Cousins in there over a clearly ailing RGIII.  That is what it came down to. The Seahawks took total advantage on defense not allowing the Redskins stud do anything on offense. Following the first quarter, the Redskins offense went silent as the Seahawks scored 24 unanswered points to pull off the 10-point victory on the road.  Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch used their legs to lead their team to a big win combining for 199 yards on the ground in a dominant ground-and-pound performance.  Watch out for the Seahawks because this team is for real. Here's the five things we learned from this game.
