The Sports Network’s mock draft had the Cleveland Browns picking Barkevious Mingo with the teams first pick in the first round of the 2013 draft. I think they could be right with the Browns going to the 3-4 defense. I still think the Browns would be better off taking a corner back as the teams first draft. While it would be great to build a solid core of line-backers, the team is really weak in the defensive secondary. While the sports network has Mingo as the Browns first pick I still think they should consider taking a great shut down corner. We all saw what happened last season when Haden was out and we all know the Browns needs to build their secondary. If they don’t get a quality corner back in Cleveland, the Browns are going to be in for a very long season. The NFL is turning into a throw the ball down field shoot out league and the Browns have to find a way to defend the pass.
